Comics

I've spent two nights running reading through a brilliantly funny web comic strip.

It's called Questionable Content and it revolves around the convoluted lives of the female staff of a Cafe and their Indie Rock friends. The creator also has another strip called Indietits, which is dialog between birds sitting on a branch, discussing Indie Rock.

I'm seeing a theme here, the author, in my opinion rightly so, thinks that the entire subject of Indie Rock and it's fans deserves to be continually and savagely ridiculed, for the amusement of others.

Little else seems sacred to him either, in Questionable Content psychotherapy, theoretical physics and religion come under heavy fire as well from time to time.

The comics are here Questionable Content and Indietits

The creator is also a LiveJournal user qcjeph and a has a blog Jephdraw. You can get an idea of the quality of his work from the preview of a poster featuring the cast of Questionable Content here.

I'm almost in love with the ditzophrenic character Raven. And, be careful, it's highly possible I sustained injuries to my lower ribs laughing these last two nights :)

Well, don't worry, you won't notice the difference ;-)

Odd, I can't really get the humour of that stuff. Must be cultural. Or linguistic.
